AI Solutions Architect

TMLC wins on architecture. As an AI Solutions Architect, you'll be the technical lead on client engagements — translating enterprise problems into precise AI solution designs, owning the scoping and proposal process, and ensuring what gets built matches what was promised.

This is a rare hybrid: you're deep enough technically to design credible, production-grade AI systems, and strong enough commercially to shape engagements from the first discovery call. You'll work directly with the founder, lead architects, and client stakeholders — and your decisions define what TMLC commits to building.

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery with enterprise clients — ask the right questions, understand constraints, and frame the right problem to solve.
• Design end-to-end AI solution architectures covering data pipelines, model components, GenAI integration, APIs, and deployment infrastructure.
• Own the technical scope of proposals and statements of work — clear enough to build from, accurate enough to deliver on.
• Bridge the gap between client business requirements and engineering execution, staying involved through delivery to catch scope drift early.
• Evaluate build vs. buy decisions, vendor choices, and platform trade-offs with a clear bias toward reliability and maintainability.
• Represent TMLC's technical capabilities externally — in client workshops, architecture reviews, and proof-of-concept presentations.

What we're looking for

• 5–8 years across data, ML, or software engineering, with at least 2 years in a client-facing or solutions architecture capacity.
• Broad, credible understanding of the modern AI/ML stack — data infrastructure, model development, GenAI, and production deployment.
• Proven ability to design systems under real constraints: timeline, budget, existing enterprise infrastructure, and data quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication — you can write a clear architecture document and present it to a CTO in the same week.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving clarity where clients haven't fully defined what they need.
• Track record of delivering AI projects end-to-end, not just designing them.
